North Philadelphia Accidents On Germantown Avenue
There is no bigger danger to motorists in Philadelphia than when other drivers lose control of their vehicles. Reckless drivers can be speeding or driving aggressively and putting other drivers and passengers in harm’s way. You wonder what destination could be so important that these careless drivers would put everyone else in danger with their reckless moves.
The Pennsylvania DOT documents the terrible consequences of these accidents each year. In 2019, they found that the biggest percentage of accidents in the state by far involved speeding. There were nearly 30,000 collisions involving excessive speed across the state in 2019. Those accidents led to a tragic 385 fatalities on the road. Finding Support After Philadelphia Accidents
Victims of accidents that weren’t their fault can find themselves facing severe injuries that require weeks and months of hospital care and rehabilitation. The extreme consequences and costs that are possible make it all the more important to know your rights in a collision.
Injuries can include broken and dislocated bones that can take months to heal with pain that follows you over a lifetime. Head and brain injuries can leave you unable to communicate and affect your memory in the short and longterm. Spinal damage can take your mobility from you and leave you reliant on medical equipment just to get around the house.
A claim against at-fault drivers and their insurance policies should demand coverage for the medical care you’ve had and any that may be necessary in the future. A claim for damages can ask for compensation for any surgeries likely needed in the years to come and for money to cover extended absences from work as you heal.

Cherry Hill Accidents Along Cuthbert Boulevard
A four-lane road in a busy section of town can be an extremely dangerous place for motorists. Drivers from both directions can be traveling very close to each other, especially when there’s not a proper median in place or space along the sides of the road to use to steer clear of a hazard.
The consequences of a collision can be that much more severe when victims become trapped in their vehicles. A worldwide study that looked at 244 patients that had to be rescued from their cars after impacts showed that a tragic 19% of patients lost their lives. 51% of those patients suffered from major trauma.
A distracted driver can not notice that they’ve veered off course then lose control of their vehicle and cause a crash that can leave victims in every lane badly hurt.

Assistance for Cherry Hill Accident Victims
After a scary crash along a city street, you can be left to worry over every sort of bill while you, unfortunately, miss more and more time at work during recovery. Hospital expenses, ambulance and rescue fees, and even normal rent or mortgage payments can go unpaid as you are forced to focus on the healing process.
These expenses should never be your burden or your family’s burden after an accident that wasn’t your fault. An at-fault driver’s insurance firm should be the first to be targeted by every cost of medical care you need covered now and in the coming weeks and months. Insurance companies should not be able to cut you loose until you’ve completely recovered and your life is back to normal.
In these difficult circumstances, a victim or a victim’s family can start the process of filing a claim against that insurance company. This claim can make sure every physical and financial toll the victim has suffered is neatly documented so that an insurance adjuster has little room to dispute how much compensation the victim is due. You have suffered because of their policyholder’s mistake and there’s no excuse for not supporting you as you get back on your feet.

Pedestrian Hit-And-Run Accidents in Fairhill
Philadelphia is a city of narrow streets and a constant flow of traffic. Pedestrians know how hard it can be to find a safe place to cross when crosswalks aren’t designed properly and distracted drivers show little caution when the possibility of someone on foot being nearby should always be on their minds.
Inattentive drivers pose a dangerous threat to walkers every day, but the heartbreak of a collision is only magnified when the drivers to blame decide to speed off and avoid taking responsibility for their actions.
FOX29-TV found that fatal hit-and-run cases have been on the rise in the past year across Philadelphia. In 2019, the city reported nine fatal hit-and-runs, but in 2020 the number of tragic deaths caused by hit-and-run drivers jumped to 28 cases.
Philadelphia Pedestrian Hit-And-Run Accident in Fairhill
A pedestrian was struck in the Fairhill section of Philadelphia late Sunday night. FOX29-TV reported the accident happened on Leigh Avenue just before midnight on January 3, 2020.
Philadelphia police say a 36-year-old man was crossing the avenue near American street when he was struck by a driver in the middle of the four-lane roadway. The victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
Investigators say the driver sped away without stopping. Police officers pursued the alleged vehicle involved for a short time down 5th street before the suspect got away. Investigators believe the responsible driver was in a red Dodge Dakota truck. It was a model between 2005-2011 and had a quad cab.
If you have any information about the driver or the vehicle involved you’re asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department.
Support for Fairhill Pedestrian Hit-And-Run Victims
A careless act by a driver can leave a victim in the hospital coping with a severe injury and also place the family of the victim under extreme stress. They will be worried about an injured loved one and can also be questioning how justice can ever be served when at-fault motorists choose not to stick around after their mistake.
Victims and their families shouldn’t have to wait for justice or wait for assistance paying for the expensive costs of medical treatment resulting from a collision. However, if a hit-and-run suspect is never found a victim may have to depend on his or her own car insurance policy for help with medical expenses and other bills. A claim can be made on the victim’s personal uninsured motorist coverage. If victims don’t have a policy, they might be covered on a family member’s policy.
If there is positive news and a suspect is apprehended, a civil claim for damages can move forward immediately against the driver and his or her insurance company. The driver will likely be facing a criminal trial on hit-and-run charges, but a civil trial can advance regardless of the status of the criminal proceedings.

West Kensington Pedestrian Accidents
Traffic in Kensington can reach extreme levels in the evenings and that can put anyone on foot trying to get around the city at tremendous risk. Careless drivers can be observing anything other than the road when they miss spotting a pedestrian crossing the street and make an error that causes a tragedy.
The heartbreaking cases of pedestrian accidents were on the rise in 2020 according to Philly Voice. Through October, the city had documented 42 pedestrians who had lost their lives. That number was up from 30 fatalities in 2019 over the same period.
These cases only highlight the need for drivers to show pedestrians more caution and for the city of Philadelphia to provide safer streets and sidewalks for everyone traveling on foot.
Woman Struck and Killed in West Kensington

Philadelphia police say a 75-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a Honda Civic traveling west. The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The 29-year-old man driving the Civic left the scene but then returned. He has been arrested and charged with homicide by vehicle. A witness who watched the accident unfold from a SEPTA bus says the driver was trying to pass another car when the collision occurred.
Help for Philadelphia Families After a Pedestrian Accident
Careless drivers can be distracted from the road or be driving recklessly and put pedestrians at extreme risk. Once a tragic accident occurs nothing can bring back the victim and families can be left with only their memories of a beloved family member. What’s more, a family can also be targeted by bill collectors and dishonest insurance agents while they are still grieving their loss.
Families can face the cost of a funeral and ambulance and hospital bills without any certainty that they’ll get help from the driver who caused the accident. The driver’s insurance company should be first in line to help families who are the victim of a tragedy. But sometimes families have to put pressure on insurance representatives to do what’s right.
A family is permitted to file a wrongful death lawsuit against insurance companies for drivers responsible for fatal accidents. This claim for damages is intended to make sure families are not financially decimated by these costs. A claim can also see that close relatives like a spouse or children are taken care of in the years to come as they face future life events without the emotional and financial support the deceased victim would have provided.
Contact a Philadelphia Wrongful Death Attorney
A family going through the tragic loss of a loved one due to the negligence of a careless driver should know their rights. Philadelphia Accidents On Kelly Drive
Philadelphia traffic can present dangerous situations for safe drivers no matter what time they travel. Careless drivers are cruising the city constantly, even after rush hour has died down. At any moment reckless drivers can squeeze other motorists out of a lane, veer into the path of oncoming traffic or miss a red light. All potentially devastating mistakes when you’re the driver on the road next to them.

Assistance for Philadelphia Accident Victims
A devastating accident can take so much from victims. Severe injuries can rob victims of their mobility, their freedom, and even claim their memories when serious brain injures are involved.
With the help of the best medical care, victims can recover and get back on their feet, and when they do they shouldn’t have to face a mountain of hospital bills and monthly expenses coming due. These worries should belong to the driver who caused the accident and his or her insurance representatives.
After a painful injury, you may be waiting on an insurance company to provide compensation for all of the expenses of recovery and even the wages you’ve lost while having to miss work. You may have to keep waiting though. Insurance companies can stall your benefits, cast blame for a crash on you, and even try to use your own statements against you to weaken your case. The goal is to get you desperate enough to accept a lowball offer for every bit of physical and emotional pain you’ve suffered.
To guard against these types of tricks, victims can file a civil lawsuit to make sure insurance adjusters know every cost and hardship they’ll be expected to cover. An attorney working on your behalf can make sure everything you’ve suffered is documented in a claim for damages. Your attorney can also handle all communication with insurance agents to make sure they can’t twist your words.
