A four-lane road in a busy section of town can be an extremely dangerous place for motorists. Drivers from both directions can be traveling very close to each other, especially when there’s not a proper median in place or space along the sides of the road to use to steer clear of a hazard.
The consequences of a collision can be that much more severe when victims become trapped in their vehicles. A worldwide study that looked at 244 patients that had to be rescued from their cars after impacts showed that a tragic 19% of patients lost their lives. 51% of those patients suffered from major trauma.
A distracted driver can not notice that they’ve veered off course then lose control of their vehicle and cause a crash that can leave victims in every lane badly hurt.
Multiple vehicles were involved in a frightening collision in Camden County, New Jersey Wednesday morning. The Camden Daily Voice reports the accident happened sometime before 10 a.m. on the 700 block of Cuthbert Boulevard in Cherry Hill on January 6, 2020.
Reports from the scene indicated that three vehicles were involved in the crash. The impact left one a pickup on its side. Several people were also said to be trapped in their vehicles by the accident.
There’s no word on the conditions of the victims involved or on what caused the crash.
After a scary crash along a city street, you can be left to worry over every sort of bill while you, unfortunately, miss more and more time at work during recovery. Hospital expenses, ambulance and rescue fees, and even normal rent or mortgage payments can go unpaid as you are forced to focus on the healing process.
These expenses should never be your burden or your family’s burden after an accident that wasn’t your fault. An at-fault driver’s insurance firm should be the first to be targeted by every cost of medical care you need covered now and in the coming weeks and months. Insurance companies should not be able to cut you loose until you’ve completely recovered and your life is back to normal.
In these difficult circumstances, a victim or a victim’s family can start the process of filing a claim against that insurance company. This claim can make sure every physical and financial toll the victim has suffered is neatly documented so that an insurance adjuster has little room to dispute how much compensation the victim is due. You have suffered because of their policyholder’s mistake and there’s no excuse for not supporting you as you get back on your feet.
